CHARITY EXTRAVAGANZA of Ellis County
All events will be held at two locations. the bowling event will be held at the All Star Bowl, while the darts, cook off, washers and horseshoes events will be held at the American Legion # 361. Both venues are located in Ennis. Directions to both venues will be posted online at a later date.

The Goals
The goals of the Charity Extravaganza are simple:
- To Bring the community together
- To Raise money for various Charitable Organizations
- To Offer various activities for individuals to participate in
- To Help promote and bring customers into local businesses
New events are added each year with hopes of attracting more participants. In doing so, current and future charitable organizations will benefit from the increased support received from a larger number of sponsors.
The Charity Extravaganza will continue to grow, with plans to include at least 3 events per year. Golf, Billiards, Putt Putt, Wiffle Ball, Volley Ball: Future additions to the Charity Extravaganza
Sponsors Needed
100% of the entry fees received are given to Helping Hands. Trophies/plaques/shirts are awarded in leiu of cash, and we need sponsors to help cover the cost of these items.
Trophies are awarded for the following events:
- Horseshoes Tournament
- Washers Tournament
- "Meat & Greet" Charity Cook Off

About Helping Hands
Helping Hands of Ennis is a Christ-centered, community-based organization that gives a hand up to families and individuals suffering a time of crisis imposed by an event or situation beyond their immediate control. Our intention is to show to the world the physical acts of mercy as instructed by Our Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ. In the practical application of scripture, we use our common sense to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, give water to the thirsty, and welcome the stranger.
Helping Hands is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization registered with the IRS since 1988. In addition to this status, we are a Texas non-profit corporation. Our affiliation with the United Way of Ennis allows us to serve our community to our full capacity. HHE is a member in good standing with the Local Independent Charities, Center for Non-profit Management of Dallas, and the Volunteer Center of North Texas
